Our Story

In 1996, UNT Alumni and Retired Veteran Charlie Nolet created The Loophole and Two Charlies restaurant and bars.

After meeting his wife, Lin they teamed up and began to work together to create exciting experiences in the restaurant and entertainment scene here in Denton.

Lovers all things local and the Denton community, they look forward in sharing their love for food, cocktails, art and music with all of North Texas.

The Loophole being a smaller mom & pop owned shop, here our staff is our family. The level of love, dedication, honesty, hard work and pure awesomeness from these folks is hard to put into words.
